Disabling desktop notifications in Outpost Follow

You can disable desktop notifications once they have been allowed. Since these notification settings are controlled by the web browser (and not Outpost) the instructions will vary depending on the browser that you are using.

In this article:

 

Firefox:

  1. Click on the lock icon in the Firefox address bar.

  2. Select the gear icon next to Permissions

  3. Next to Notifications, click "Settings"

  4. Change the notification preference next to app.outpost.co from allow to block in the drop down menu to stop receiving notifications from Outpost.

Chrome

  1. Click on the lock icon in the Chrome address bar.

  2. Change the notification preference by selecting the drop down menu and selecting "Block" to stop receiving notifications from Outpost.

  3. Click on the Reload button to apply the change to your Notifications

Safari:

  1. In the Safari menu, select Preferences

  2. In the preference window, select the Websites tab from the top of the window, then select Notifications.

  3. Change the notification preference next to app.outpost.co from allow to deny in the drop down menu to stop receiving notifications from Outpost.
