RETIRED Marketing Plan Pro: Run Time Error 91 Follow

The Microsoft Windows XP update (Service Pack 1) causes the "Run-time Error 91: Object variable or width block not set." The issue stems from a third-party control that our software relies heavily upon. We have worked with Microsoft, as well as the third party in question to resolve the problem since it was introduced.

Microsoft released an update for Windows XP that causes a serious problem with one of the third-party shared components that our software relies on. Please follow these instructions to resolve the problem:

  1. Download the appropriate file from the link below:
  2. Save the file on your Desktop.
  3. Download the Visual Basic Runtime Update to the Visual Basic Scripting files:
  4. Save the file on your Desktop.
  5. After the download has finished, close all programs on your system and restart your computer.
  6. Double-click the downloaded SmartUI file to install it ("XP_SmartUI_Update_2002" or "XP_SmartUI_Update_2003").
  7. After the installation of the SmartUI update, double-click on the vbrun60sp5.exe file.
  8. Finally, restart your computer and the problem will be resolved.
