Inserting custom topics Follow

This menu command (or toolbar button) in Business Plan Pro lets you create a new chapter, second-level topic, or third-level topic in the Plan Outline.

Click the Outline button to display the Outline on your screen.

• Highlight the topic level that the new topic will be inserted at:
  • Chapter level = 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, etc.
  • Second level  = 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, etc.
  • Third level      = 1.1.1, 1.1.2, 1.1.3, etc.
• From the Outline toolbar:
  •  Click Insert
  • Click Topic.

The Insert Topic dialog will display. Choose one of the following options:

New:

• Type the New topic title in the text box.
• Click the Insert button.
• Click the "New" radio button.

Existing:

• Click the "Existing" radio button to the left.
• Highlight a topic name from the existing plan outline.
• Click the Insert button.
