The sample plans shared in LivePlan were actually created with Business Plan Pro, our original Windows software, which uses a different document outline. These sample plans are not directly editable in LivePlan; instead, they are intended to provide ideas and inspiration, not to act as a template for your own plan.
The difference in outline makes recreating one of the sample plans in LivePlan potentially pretty laborious. LivePlan has a very complete and flexible default outline that is applicable to any business, and includes a wide array of additional content you can easily add to your plan to customize it for your own business.
That said, the samples can certainly be useful to cut and paste in specific sections as a starting point for your own writing. It can also be helpful to see what sort of products a similar company had in its sales forecast, what sort of expenses were in its budget, and so on.
