LivePlan is a web-based application, like Facebook or Gmail. That means it works differently than CD-based software that you install on a particular computer. Here are some notable differences:
Access from any computer
All of the software’s files, including the business plans you create, are stored online. You do not need to install or save any LivePlan files on your computer. Simply by logging into the secure website from any computer, anywhere in the world, you can access and update your LivePlan companies.
LivePlan’s online platform also allows our development team to update the software anytime without requiring you to install — or pay separately for — an upgrade. We typically update the app with new features and improvements once a month. You benefit from these improvements as soon as they are added to LivePlan, without any effort on your part. Collaborating with others is easy with LivePlan. You can invite team members, advisors, and others to either work with you on your company content (in a "contributor" role) or to review and comment as you go (using our free "guest pass" access). Contributors can even work on the same company at the same time you are, as long as you're not both editing the same section.
