With the features built into LivePlan, you can publish your pitch as a Web page, export your Pitch to PowerPoint, or print your Pitch as a PDF.
Once you've filled out the Pitch page, you can download a copy as a PDF document to share with others. The resulting PDF will contain either one or two pages, depending on the number of sections you've decided to include in your pitch.
Note: To open the PDF file, you’ll need to have a PDF reader, such as Adobe Reader, installed on your computer.
- From the Pitch tab, click Download & Print in the upper right corner:
- As a default, your download will include all sections of the pitch. If you'd like to customize what's included, click the Edit button:
- Check or uncheck the boxes for the sections you'd like to include in the download:
Note: in the screenshot above, you may notice that the Milestones section is labeled as "currently hidden." This is because that section has been hidden in the Pitch editor. You can hide several sections of the pitch this way if you like.
- Finally, select a paper size and then click Download as PDF:
- Click Open PDF:
- The PDF will display in your browser before it's downloaded to your computer. Click your browser's download button to save the file to your computer. See below for instructions on locating this button in popular browsers:
For Chrome users:
In the upper right corner of the display, click the Download icon:
The file will save to your computer's Downloads folder.
For Firefox users:
In the upper right corner of the display, click the Download icon:
The file will save to your computer's Downloads folder.
For Safari users:
In the File menu, click Export as PDF.
The file will save to your computer's Downloads folder.
For Microsoft Edge users:
While you can use the hidden "File" menu to download the file, the easiest solution is to right click on the document displayed in Microsoft Edge and choose "Save as"
Note: If you are using an iPad or other mobile device, you may not be able to download a PDF directly to it. Instead, use a desktop or laptop to download your plan.
