Tips for printing your pitch Follow

With the features built into LivePlan, you can publish your pitch as a Web page or export it to PowerPoint. However, LivePlan doesn't offer the option to print your pitch. That said, it is possible to do this using your browser's print feature, with generally good results.

Printing your Pitch

For the best results, follow these steps:

  1. Complete your Pitch.
  2. Publish the Pitch to a Web page. To do this:
    a. Click Publish:

    b. Click the Publish my pitch button:

    c. When the page is ready, click View your secret web page:

  3. Follow the printing instructions for your browser below.

For Chrome users:

  1. From the File menu, click Print.
  2. In the Print overlay that appears, click More Settings:

    Note: You may need to scroll down in the left-hand pane to see this option.
  3. With the More Settings area expanded, check the box for Background graphics:

  4. If you want to print a hard copy, click Print.
  5. If you want to print to PDF, click Open PDF in Preview.

For Internet Explorer users:

  1. From the settings gear, choose Print > Page Setup.
  2. In the Page Setup overlay, enable the Print Background Colors and Images option:

  3. Click OK.
  4. From the settings gear, choose Print.
  5. In the Print overlay that appears:
    a. If you want to print a hard copy, choose the desired printer, and then click Print.
    b. If you want to print to PDF, choose Adobe PDF from the list of printers, and then click Print.

For Firefox users:

  1. From the File menu, click Print.
  2. Click the Show Details button:

  3. In the Print overlay that appears, enable the Print Background Colors and Print Background Images options:

  4. If you want to print a hard copy, click Print.

  5. If you want to print to PDF, click on the PDF list box, and select Save as PDF.

For Safari users:

  1. From the File menu, click Print.
  2. Click the Show Details button:

  3. In the Print overlay that appears, enable the Print backgrounds option:print_pitch_safari.jpg#asset:862
  4. If you want to print a hard copy, click Print.

  5. If you want to print to PDF, click the PDF dropdown, and select Save as PDF.
