You can access Outpost from almost any computer, so long as you have a strong, reliable Internet connection. We test the app regularly with all of the operating systems and browsers that our customers commonly use. See below for details.
Windows and Mac
We fully support both Microsoft Windows and Mac OS, provided that the version you're using can run one of the supported browser versions listed below.
Note that some older Windows and Mac computers can only run older browser versions, and may not be able to run our app without issues. If your computer can't run a browser from the supported list below, we can't promise it will run the Outpost well, since we don't test for such scenarios.
We support latest versions of the following browsers (see the exception below):
- Safari (Mac and iOS only)
- Edge (Windows only)
Note: Internet Explorer is not supported for Outpost. We recommend Windows users use one of the other browsers listed above.
When you're working on a message draft, Outpost will automatically save it every 15 seconds. Because of these frequent saves, Outpost requires a strong, uninterrupted internet connection.
Outpost is not currently supported for mobile devices like tablets or phones. If mobile operation would be helpful for you, please contact us and let us know more about the device you'd like to work on.
