How do I change the theme of my PDF download? Follow

When you download your plan as a PDF file, LivePlan offers a choice of 10 visual themes you can apply to the document - from simple to bold. These themes are a quick way to apply some styling to your plan.

Note: The PDF themes aren't licensed for use in Word. If you prefer to download your plan as a Word document, there are a number of theming options available within Microsoft Word.

 

  1. On the Plan tab, click Download & Print:

  2. Locate the PDF Themes section of the page. You'll see the default theme, Springfield, displayed there. To switch to a different theme, click the Change button:

  3. Scroll to the right to see the additional themes available. Select the theme you prefer by clicking on it. The display below the menu will change, showing you a sample of the cover page and one internal page. Click Save & Close:

    Note: you can find a list of the fonts used in each theme in this article.

  4. Click Download as PDF to download your plan file to your computer:

Note: These themes can't be edited. If you'd like to make detailed customizations to your plan, we recommend exporting it as a Word document instead.
