This week's LivePlan update adds some exciting new functionality to the LivePlan Dashboard (formerly known as the LivePlan Scoreboard. As always, if you have any questions on these, please feel free to contact us.
Print reports from your Dashboard
Now you can download and print detailed reports of the comparisons between your actuals and forecast in the Dashboard. These reports are fully customizable, so you can include the date range and metrics you want:

Downloading your plan while your account is on hold
Including current assets in your starting balances
For existing companies using our Starting Balances input to capture their financial picture at the start of the forecast, a new section is now available for entering your existing current assets and their remaining depreciation:
Representing negative revenue amounts in the forecast
For those cases where you need to show a refund or discount as part of your revenue forecast, you can now enter negative numbers in most revenue streams:

Viewing Benchmarks alongside your future forecast
You can now view your forecast data in the Benchmarks tab, even if your forecast begins on a future date. And if you change your forecast start date, you can easily update the Benchmarks display to match:
Setting non-depreciating starting assets
For existing companies, you can now set the assets in your Starting Balances entry so they don't depreciate:

We've moved the Help button!
By popular demand, we've relocated the Help button so it's easier to use the Next buttons while you're in Full Screen more in the Forecast.
Here's an extra tip: if you use the Help button to open a live chat with us, you can always relocate the chat window for better access to the Next button, as shown below. Just click the blue bar at the top of the chat and drag it to move the box:
New instructional videos in the Forecast tab
We're testing some new how-to videos in the Revenue, Direct Costs, and Personnel pages of the Forecast. We hope these help you get started with these sections of your forecast. Have any feedback? Please let us know.
We'll notify you when your payment method is expiring soon
To help keep your LivePlan service uninterrupted, you'll now see a message letting your know when your credit or debit card on file is expiring within the month. This message will appear at the top of your LivePlan window.

We updated LivePlan this week with some useful new features to help you customize the way you download your business plan for printing or sharing.

Choose which chapters to include in your plan download
When you download your plan as a PDF or Word document, you can now:
- Download only specific chapters of your plan
- Exclude any empty chapters you haven't started writing yet
- Easily change the download to include all chapters

Change page breaks in your plan
LivePlan's default setting is to insert a page break before each chapter of your downloaded plan. If you prefer, you can now change this setting in your Document Options. Just uncheck the box, and your pages will have continuous formatting.

Add customized financial statements to your downloaded plan
By popular demand, you can now add an optional Appendix to your plan that includes all of your financial statements in monthly detail. And you can also:
- Include all three financial statements, or just specific ones, in the plan
- Add extra details to the monthly-detail Profit and Loss, including:
- An itemized list of your revenue streams
- Details like sales units and prices from those revenue streams
- An itemized list of your direct costs
- An itemized list of your personnel
