How do I download or print my forecast or financial statements? Follow

 

LivePlan offers two ways to download your forecast data:

  • You can print reports from the Forecast tab, so you can share your forecast data
  • You can print a more formatted section from your business plan that contains only the financial statements.
Note: All of the data you've entered into the Forecast tab of LivePlan is compiled into three financial statements when it's included in your business plan: the Profit and Loss, the Balance Sheet, and the Cash Flow.

 

Printing from the Forecast tab

If you just need to share your detailed forecast with a colleague or advisor, you can print customized reports from the Forecast tab.

  1. In the Forecast tab, click the Download & Print link:

  2. Click the Edit button to select the sections and detail you'd like in the report:

  3. Click Download as PDF. The PDF will display in your browser. Use your browser's download button to save it to your computer.

 

Creating a financials-only download with condensed statements

With this option, your downloaded financial statements will contain annual totals.

  1. In the Plan tab, click the Download & Print link:

  2. Locate the Setup section of the page. Click the Edit button next to Chapters:

  3. In the overlay that appears, un-check all the chapter boxes except for Financial Plan. Click Save & Close:

    Note: This setting will stay in place until you change it, so if you need a download of your plan that contains the written sections as well as the financials, just come back to this overlay and re-check the chapter boxes.

  4. Now, when you download your plan as a PDF or export it as a Word document, it will contain only your financial statements. If you'd like those statements to be more detailed, see below:

 

Creating a financials-only download with detailed statements

With this option, your downloaded document will contain two sets of financial statements: one with annual totals and one with monthly detail. And you can also include a number of extra details to suit your needs.

 

  1. In the Plan tab, click the Download & Print link:

  2. Locate the Setup section of the page. Click the Edit button next to Chapters:

  3. In the overlay that appears, un-check all the chapter boxes except for Financial Plan. Click Save & Close:

    Note: This setting will stay in place until you change it, so if you need a download of your plan that contains the written sections as well as the financials, just come back to this overlay and re-check the chapter boxes.

  4. Now, in the Setup area, click the Edit button next to Appendix:

  5. In the overlay that appears, click the check boxes for the statements you'd like to include in your Appendix, and the extra details you'd like to have in your Profit and Loss statement. Click Save & Close:

    Note: If you need a download of your plan without these detailed statements, you can come back to this overlay anytime and uncheck the boxes.

  6. Now, when you download your plan as a PDF or export it as a Word document, it will contain your financial statements in both the condensed and detailed forms.
