To help you locate conversations more easily, Outpost has a search box in the upper left corner of the window:
Type in a keyword or phrase, and all conversations incorporating it will display. Outpost will search message headers, message text, and attachment names for your entered query. Searches incorporate only the Inbox and Archived folders, not the Spam or Trash folders.

Click on any preview card to go to the detailed view of the conversation.
Outpost includes advanced search features that allow you to locate conversations based on precise search terms.
Click on the advanced search field to bring up the advanced search window.
Here you will find a number of options for searching your mailboxes for conversations based on sender, recipient, tags, and more. Fill out one or more of the search boxes to begin.
This searches mailboxes for conversations from a particular sender. Begin typing the first few characters of the name or email address of the email sender. A list of all senders containing those characters will appear. Then select the sender that you wish to search for from that list.
Note: Only one email address at a time can be entered in the From: field
This searches mailboxes for conversations to a particular recipient. Begin typing the first few characters of the name or email address of the email sender. A list of all recipients containing those characters will appear. Then select the recipient that you wish to search for from that list.
Note: You can search for multiple recipients in this field.
The subject box searches your emails by subject line. Type at least one full word to refine your search to emails containing the search term in the subject line.
The keyword box searches the body of your conversations, the subject line, to and from fields, notes, and attachment filenames for a particular word or phrase.
Check this box to return results only for conversations containing attachments.
Set a date parameter for your search here. You can search for conversations before, after, or on a specific date that you select.
This field allows you to search conversation by the team member that sent or initially replied to the conversation. Select the team member from the drop down menu to limit the search to that team member.
This field lists which team member the conversation was assigned to. Select the team member from the drop down menu to search for conversations assigned to a particular team member.
The mailbox field is used to limit the search to a particular mailbox.
The tag field will search for conversations that have a tag applied. Select a tag from the drop down list to search by that tag.
The folder field will search for conversations with a particular folder. Select the folder that you would like to search from the drop down menu. The spam and trash folders can be included in the search by checking the boxes below the folder drop down menu.
Note: The checkboxes to include the spam and trash folders will only be visible if All Folders is selected in the Folder selection dropdown.
Once the search terms have been entered, click on search to begin.
All conversations matching your search terms will be listed on the next screen.
